Jesus vs. the Mammogram

Just a warning, this is February, which at this blog is celebrated by fierce denunciation of moronic behavior. If you feel like being a moron, please do not inform me by email as so many morons choose to do. Instead, please publicly do something completely repellant and allow me to comment on it. If you do it in the name of our Lord and Savior, you get double points. Also, not your God, but the other God that we don't talk about allowed me to start swearing again, so apologies and take it up with him. Yes, I know he only speaks to me, but that is of course only coincidental.

Dear God,

I have no money, obviously because I am a total fuck-up. My life hasn't gone as planned, in fact you might say I'm like every person who has ever lived on this god-forsaken planet. I'm sorry, i know you care but more and more it seems like everyone who believes in you, as I do, is a complete and utter asshole. In fact today, I was worried. I don't have insurance, since my mother for some reason thought it was better to bring a child into her drug-addled world and try to raise her.

I know at some point I should have pulled myself up from my bootstraps and found myself a better life, because I know tons of Americans who have risen up and joined a social class above their parents standing. Okay, maybe not, because they are all actors, musicians, and athletes; something that a kid raising her little brothers and sisters can't really become. I have many excuses, but I would like the chance to redeem myself.

Thankfully, seeing the pitiful plight of my existence which at best would result in me being a minimum wage worker in a society that doesn't accept the value of inflation for the poorest mother fuckers out here, you gave me a gift. Thankfully, my cancer which with proper screenings which I used to be able to receive had progressed beyond that point and now I am going to you Lord where you can take care of me. If Susan G. Komen's foundation hadn't made a ridiculous decision based on at best conservatism and at worst racism and sexism, then I would still have to live and be miserable like the rest of you. Thank you, God.

Amen

Sure, that was ridiculous, most things in life are. I find it ridiculous that the minimum wage hasn't increased with inflation. I find it hard to believe that anyone thinks LeBron James will ever win a NBA title. I find it hard to believe that any women would ever find me attractive. Guess what it fucking happens. Someone has literally taken John McCain's "women's health" bit and actually substantiated by cutting funding for women's health procedures based on idiocy, prejudice, and cowardice.

Idiocy
1 usually offensive : extreme mental retardation
2: something notably stupid or foolish
It is my firm belief that cancer will never be cured by mankind. I don't mean that in a mean way to cancer survivors or current patients undergoing treatment. You can beat cancer, just like you can beat death or beat the rush hour traffic. At some point, cancer will come back to beat you. This isn't morbid nor insightful, it's just god damn human sense. People die, but they shouldn't have to die young. I'm okay with curing cancer, but the key is to catch it early and you know who doesn't: poor people. Why? Because they don't have fucking health care. Obama's America, as you the entitled motherfuckers like to call it, doesn't fucking exist; it is a pipedream, a liberal's fantasy propagated by a bill that hasn't taken effect and perhaps will never have the far reaching effects that any non-watered down version would. This is a country of wealth, perhaps now old wealth, that is defined more now by the inability to care for its poor, old, and disadvantaged.

How stupid would it be for the largest charity for breast cancer research to reject funding for the largest provider for underprivileged females in the United States? Would you describe that as notably foolish or stupid? Or if you, like I do, lack the political correctness of civil folk, extremely retarded?

Prejudice

a (1) : preconceived judgment or opinion
    (2) : an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient                 knowledge
b : an instance of such judgment or opinion
c : an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or    their supposed characteristics
The truth is rich people don't use Planned Parenthood. They have the exact same problems. Rich people get cancer. Rich people get abortions. Rich people use birth control. It's simple in fact. Truthfully, the poor white conservatives don't either, because it's not available to them. Planned parenthood has become a symbol of liberal godlessness, as opposed to the blatant atheism that guys like me would prefer you focused on. Let's be honest for a second, of you ever had to consider walking into planned parenthood, you aren't ready to be a father or mother. People look upon their doings as if they are blatantly flaunting their ability to get it taken care of, or to have premarital sex under safer conditions.

That's because no one on the board of that foundation has ever been poor; you don't chair foundations from a trailer park or the ghetto apartment I'm writing this in. I have health care (for now), but guess how many Americans in my income bracket do? 5%, maybe 10%. We could all have cancer right now, and not even know it. However, we're poor, so in all honesty, who gives a fuck? Nobody in any foundation.

I'm not playing the race card because frankly, every race in this county is being fucked here, but then again who cares, we die faster anyways.

Cowardice
: lack of courage or resolution
It's not even making me angry anymore; I'm just disappointed. Political pressure? For fucks' sake. You are a "charity" working hopelessly for the eradication of a disease that cannot be eradicated. In essence, you are unstoppable and will forever be there vocally expressing your displeasure at cancer as it calmly and surely dismisses you saying, "I'm bored, I think it's time for a break. I'll be back." For millions of women, you haven't offered a cure, you've offered a second chance at life. You've allowed them to live longer by providing them with care options and preventive measures that ensure millions of women, if not able to beat cancer are able to actually give it a fair fight.

To take that ability from a woman is pure cowardice. Just like any of those unborn children those assholes are fighting for in the name of their cowardice lord, women have the right to live, and that is the objective of your fucking organization. If someone has a beef with Planned Parenthood for giving women affordable cancer screenings and breast examinations,  please send all your complete nonsense my way.

If someone has a beef with them providing alternative methods to childbirth, take that up with someone who gives a shit. How about the Baptists, the Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Mormons, Presbyterians, Muslims, Jews, and Appalachian Snake-Handlers? (maybe the Episcopalians/Anglicans, I'm not really sure if they are Christians anymore.) If we got all of the world's religious zealots together, maybe they could kill each other over this discussion. Then, some real progress would be made instead of them spending all of their time pressuring cowards into making stupid decisions.

This decision, and this is coming from a man who makes his life on bad decisions, is abhorrent and anyone with a shred of human decency can see this. Unfortunately, there are so few decent humans left to save, perhaps cancer is the best team to be on going forward.

I told Dad that in my anger I went a little overboard last night. However, I'm really over politics encroaching on the general welfare.
